Interpretation of Seeing a Deceased Person's Clothing in Dreams
Hazrat Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) has stated that if one sees a deceased person wearing green clothes in a dream, it indicates that the person died as a martyr. If the deceased is seen wearing white clothes, it signifies that their rank is pious. However, if the deceased is seen in black clothes, it indicates that their condition is bad, as black is the attire of the inhabitants of Hell. Seeing the deceased in red clothes suggests something bad, while seeing them in yellow or blue clothes signifies that the dreamer will face sorrow and distress. If the deceased is seen in patterned clothes, it indicates that the dreamer will have a conflict with the deceased in this world, with the deceased being in the right. Conversely, if the deceased is seen wearing clothes contrary to this, the living person is in the right. Some interpreters have also stated that if a living person dreams of dressing the deceased in clothes, it indicates that their own death is near.
حضرت ابن سیرین رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے فرمایا ہے۔ اگر دیکھے کہ مردہ نے سبز لباس پہنا ہوا ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ دنیا سے شہید کیا ہے اور اگر لباس سفید میں دیکھے۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کا درجہ نیک ہے اور اگر سیاہ لباس میں دیکھے۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کا حال بد ہے اور اہل دوزخ کا لباس سیاہ ہے۔ اور اگر سرخ لباس میں دیکھے۔ دلیل ہے کہ بد ہے۔ اور اگر زرد یا نیلے لباس میں دیکھے دلیل ہے کہ صاحب خواب غم اور مصیبت میں مبتلا ہو گا۔اور اگر نقش دار لباس میں دیکھے۔ دلیل ہے کہ صاحب خواب اس کے ساتھ دنیا میں جھگڑتا ہو گا اور حق بجانب مردہ ہو گا۔ اور اگر اس کے خلاف دیکھے تو حق بجانب زندہ ہے۔ اور بعض اہل تعبیر نے بیان کیا ہے اگر زندہ شخص خواب میں مردے کو کپڑے پہنائے۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کی موت قریب ہے۔
