Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) said, 'If someone sees that they have taken medicine for an illness and it agrees with them, it's a sign that they will seek guidance in their faith. And if they see that they have taken medicine but it doesn't agree with them, it's a sign that they will deviate from the right path. And if they see that they have taken medicine for good health, it's a sign that they will seek worldly gains according to their agreement. And if they see that they have prepared medicine for people, it's a sign that they will do good to Allah's creation. And if they see that the medicine has dried up, it's a sign that they will be relieved of their sorrows and grief.

Ibrahim Karmani (may Allah have mercy on him) said, 'If someone sees that they have taken medicine and it has had a great effect, it's a sign that they will be harmed. And if they see that their medicine has been mixed with something, it's a sign of benefit. And if they see that they have taken medicine and their senses and intellect are gone, it's a sign that they will be freed from their sorrows and grief.

Imam Jaffar al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said, 'The yellow medicine represents sorrow and illness, and whoever eats it with disgust, it's a sign of illness.

خوا ب میں دوائی کھانے کی تعبیر

حضرت ابن سیرین رحمتہ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ نے فرمایا ہے۔ اگر کوئی دیکھے کہ اس نے بیماری کے لیے دوا کھائی ہے اور اس کے موافق ہے ۔ دلیل ہے کہ دین کی صلاح تلاش کرے گا ۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ دوائی کھائی ہے اور موافق نہیں ہے ۔ دلیل ہے کہ دین کی صلاح اس سے زائل ہو گی ۔اور اگر دیکھے کہ دوا تندرستی کے لئے کھائی ہے ۔ دلیل ہے کہ جس قدر موافق ہے دنیا کی صلاح طلب کرے گا ۔ اور اگرخواب میں دیکھے کہ لوگوں کے لیے دوا بنائی ہے ۔ دلیل ہے کہ خلق خدا پر احسان کرے گا ۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ دوا خشک ہو گئی ہے ۔دلیل ہے کہ غم و اندوہ سے خلاصی پائے گا ۔ 

حضرت ابراہیم کرمانی رحمتہ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ نے فرمایا ہے کہ اگر دیکھے کہ اس نے دوا کھائی ہے اور بہت دست آئے ہیں دلیل ہے کہ اس کو ضرر پہنچے گا ۔ اور اگر اس کے خلاد دیکھی تو منفعت ہے ۔اور اگر دیکھے کہ اس نے دوائی کھائی ہے اور اس کی عقل و ہوش جاتے رہے ۔ دلیل ہے کہ غم و اندوہ سے نجات پائے گا ۔ 

حضرت جعفر صادق علیہ السلام نے فرمایا ہے ۔ جو دوا کہ زرد ہے ، رنج اور بیماری ہے اور جس کے کھانے سے نفرت ہے تو وہ بیماری پر دلیل ہے ۔
