Hazrat Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) stated that in dreams, a snake represents an ill-wisher or a hidden enemy. If one sees a snake in their house, it indicates a domestic enemy. If seen in the jungle, it signifies a foreign enemy. If one dreams of fighting a snake, it indicates confronting an enemy. If the snake overpowers the dreamer, it suggests that the enemy will not be defeated. If the dreamer sees themselves defeating the snake, it suggests overcoming the enemy. If the dreamer sees themselves eating the snake's meat, it suggests gaining wealth from the enemy and experiencing happiness. If the dreamer sees the snake divided into two pieces, it suggests obtaining justice from the enemy. If the dreamer sees the snake showing kindness to them, it indicates that remarkable events leading to marriage and happiness will occur. If the dreamer sees the snake speaking harshly or aggressively, it suggests that the enemy will triumph. If a dead snake is seen in the dream, it suggests that Allah will ward off evil and harm from the dreamer, and they will not suffer. If the dreamer sees the snake following them, it indicates attainment of status and nobility. If the dreamer sees themselves escaping from a snake without being caught, it indicates relief and happiness. If a green snake is seen, it suggests that the enemy will be religious and trustworthy. If among other snakes, a black snake is seen, it suggests a reference to the army. If the snake is yellow, it suggests illness upon the enemy. If it's red, it suggests a sociable and pleasure-loving enemy. If the dreamer sees a snake with many feet, it suggests a strong and brave enemy. If surrounded by many snakes that do not harm the dreamer, it suggests having many personal enemies but without harm. If the snakes have horns and many teeth, it suggests that the enemy is full of malice and ill-will.
Hazrat Jabir Maghribi (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned that if one sees a snake coming out from their nose, ear, breast, urine, or stool, it suggests that their child will become their enemy. If the snake comes out from their mouth, it suggests that calamity will speak.
Hazrat Ismail Ash'at (may Allah have mercy on him) said that seeing a white snake is like seeing an enemy, a black snake is like seeing a soldier. If one sees a snake running away from them and they do not see it, it indicates comfort and happiness. If the dreamer sees the snake caught by them and they do not see it, it indicates dignity and safety from the enemy.
Hazrat Khalf Isfahani (may Allah have mercy on him) said that if a green snake becomes obedient to the dreamer, it suggests obtaining treasure. If the snake comes out from under the dreamer's sleeve, it suggests that their child will become their enemy. If one kills a snake and its blood mixes with their body, it suggests that their child will become their enemy. If one kills a snake and its blood mixes with their body, it suggests that they will obtain the enemy's wealth. If one sees a snake killed on their bed, it suggests the death of their wife. If the snake comes out from under their collar or mouth and goes into the ground, it suggests death. The dream of being stung by thorns suggests a weak and feeble enemy.
Hazrat Jafar Sadiq (may Allah be pleased with him) stated that there are ten reasons for seeing a snake in a dream: Power, life, safety, kingship, command of an army, a woman, wealth, death, a boy, and a flood.
حضرت ابن سیرین رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ نے فرمایا ہے کہ خواب میں سانپ بد خواہ اور پوشیدہ دشمن ہے۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ اس کے گھر میں سانپ ہے تو گھریلو دشمن پر دلیل ہے۔ اور اگر جنگل میں دیکھے تو بیگانہ دشمن پر دلیل ہے۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ اس نے سانپ سے لڑائی کی ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ دشمن سے جھگڑا کرے گا۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ سانپ اس پر غالب آیا ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ دشمن پر فتح نہ پائے گا۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ سانپ نے اس کو کاٹا ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ دشمن کو مغلوب کرے گا۔ا ورا گر اس نے سانپ کا گوشت کھایا ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ اسی قدر دشمن کا مال کھائے گا اور خیر اور خوشی دیکھے گا اور دیکھے کہ اس نے سانپ کے دو ٹکڑے کئے ہیں۔ دلیل ہے کہ دشمن سے انصاف حاصل کرے گا اور دونوں ٹکڑے اٹھا لئے ہیں۔ دلیل ہے کہ دشمن کا مال کھائے گا۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ سانپ نے اس کے ساتھ مہربانی سے بات کی ہے۔ کہ اس کے در پیش عجیب کام ہو گا کہ اس سے شادی اور خوشی دیکھے گا۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ سانپ نے اس کے ساتھ تندی اور تیزی سے بات کی ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ دشمن اس پر فتح پائے گا۔ اور اگر مرا ہوا سانپ دیکھے۔ دلیل ہے کہ حق تعالیٰ اس سے شر اور آفت کو دور کرے گا۔ اور اس کی تکلیف نہ ہو گی اور دیکھے کہ سانپ اس کا تابعدار ہے دلیل ہے کہ مرتبہ اور بزرگی پائے گا۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ سانپ سے بھاگا ہے اور اس کو پکڑ نہیں سکا ہے تو دشمن کے ضعف پر دلیل ہے۔اور اگر دیکھے کہ سبز سانپ ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ دشمن دیندار اور با امانت ہو گا۔ اور اگر دوسرے سانپوں کے علاوہ سیاہ سانپ کو دیکھے تو لشکر پر دلیل ہے۔ اور اگر سانپ زرد ہے تو بیمار صورت دشمن پر دلیل ہے۔ اور اگر سرخ دیکھے تو معاشر اور عیش پسند دشمن پر دلیل ہے اور اگر دیکھے کہ سانپ کے بہت سے پاؤں ہیں۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کا دشمن قوی اور دلاور ہو گا۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ بہت سانپ اس کے سامنے جمع ہیں اور اس کو ستاتے ہیں۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کے بہت سے خویش دشمن ہوں گے۔ لیکن ان سے نقصان نہ دیکھے گا اور اگر دیکھے کہ سانپوں کے سینگ اور بہت سے دانت ہیں۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کا دشمن کینہ ور بد خصلت ہو گا۔
حضرت جابر مغربی رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ نے فرمایا ہے۔ اگر دیکھے کہ سانپ اس کی ناک یا کان یا پستان یا پیشاب یا پاخانہ کی جگہ سے نکلا ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کا فرزند اس کا دشمن ہو گا۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ سانپ اس کے منہ سے نکلا ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ وبال جان بات کرے گا۔
حضرت اسماعیل اشعت رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ نے فرمایا ہے کہ سفید سانپ کا دیکھنا دشمن کو دیکھنا ہے اور سیاہ سانپ سپاہی ہے اور اگر دیکھے کہ سانپ سے بھاگا ہے اور اس کو سانپ نے نہیں دیکھا ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ آرام اور خوشی پائے گا۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ سانپ نے اس کو پکڑا ہے اور دیکھ نہیں دیا ہے دلیل ہے کہ بزرگی پائے گا اور دشمن سے امن میں ہو گا۔
حضرت خلف اصفہانی رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ نے فرمایا ہے ۔ اگر دیکھے کہ سبز سانپ اس کا مطیع ہوا ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ خزانہ پائے گا۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ اس کی آستین سے سانپ نکلا ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کا فرزند اس کا دشمن ہو گا۔ اور اگرد یکھے کہ اس نے سانپ کو مارا ہے اور اس کا خون اپنے جسم پر ملا ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کا فرزند اس کا دشمن ہو گا۔اور اگرد یکھے کہ اس نے سانپ کو مارا ہے اور اس کا خون اپنے جسم پر ملا ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ دشمن کا مال حاصل کرے گا۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ اس نے اپنے بستر پر سانپ مارا ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کی عورت مرے گی۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ سانپ اس کے گریبان یا اس کے منہ سے نکل کر زمین میں گھسا ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ ہلاک ہو گا۔ اور خار مار خواب میں ضعیف اور کمزور دشمن ہے۔
حضرت جعفر صادق رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا ہے کہ خواب میں سانپ کا دیکھنا دس وجہ پر ہے: فف(1) طاقت (2) زندگانی (3) سلامت (4) بادشاہی (5) سپہ سالاری (6) عورت (7) دولت (8) موت (9) لڑکا (10) سیلاب
